DOK Film Treff | DOK Film Round

Eine Zusammenkunft für Dokumentarfilmschaffende und -interessierte organisiert die AG DOK im Festivalkino CineStar Filmpalast Stadthalle an. Am Freitag, 4. November, und am Samstag, 5. November, in der Zeit von 13 bis 19 Uhr, bietet die AG DOK die Möglichkeit zu Kontaktaufnahme und Erfahrungsaustausch und zu Gesprächen rund um den Dokumentarfilm. Treffpunkt: die New York Bar.

The German documentary filmmakers’ group AG DOK is inviting all documentary filmmakers to gather at the New York Bar in the CineStar Filmpalast Stadthalle on Friday and Saturday, November 4 and 5, in the time between 1 – 7 pm for an exchange of views and experience and an informal discussion round on documentary filmmaking.

Kuratoriumssitzung des KJF in Lübeck | Board Meeting of KJF in Lübeck

Erstmals findet eine Kuratoriumssitzung des nationalen Kinder- und Jugendfilmzentrums im Rahmen der Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck statt. Das Kuratorium, dem Vertreter aus Bund und Ländern, Hochschulen sowie Verbänden angehören, hat die Aufsicht über das KJF, das im Auftrag und mit Förderung des Bundesministeriums für Familie, Senioren, Frauen und Jugend bundesweite Projekte und Aktionen in den Bereichen Film, Fotografie, Video und Multimedia veranstaltet. Seit 1988 unterstützt das KJF die Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck durch die Förderung von Werkschauen oder Retrospektiven im Kinder- und Jugendbereich, die andere Veranstalter zum Nachspiel anregen sollen. In diesem Jahr ist es eine Schau norwegischer Jugendfilme unter dem Titel „Jung in Norwegen“.

For the first time, the Children’s and Youth Film Centre in Germany (KJF) is holding a committee meeting at the Nordic Film Days Lübeck. The committee, made up of representatives of regional and national government, universities and institutions, is a supervisory body in charge of the KJF, which was founded in 1977 and organises nationwide events in the field of film, photography, video and multimedia, funded by the Federal Ministry for Family, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth. Since 1988 the KJF has supported the Nordic Film Days Lübeck by funding thematic and retrospective programmes of children’s and youth films with the aim of encouraging other event organisers to follow suit. This year’s programme presents Norwegian youth films under the motto “Young in Norway”.

Skandinavische Nacht im NDR | More Scandinavia on NDR

Anlässlich der Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck hat das NDR-Fernsehen vor und nach dem Festival verstärkt skandinavische Filme im Programm. Außerdem wird am Samstag, 5.11.05, zum ersten Mal die lange Nacht des skandinavischen Films ausgestrahlt.

On the occasion of the Nordic Film Days Lübeck the NDR programme is screening Scandinavian films before and after the festival. During the festival itself the long night of Scandinavian film on Saturday, Nov. 5, will air three Nordic films.

Neues Festivalkino: 2wei50 | New Festival Venue: 2wei50

Da das Kino Hoffnung noch nicht wieder in Stand gesetzt ist, gibt es ein neues Festivalkino. Die Wiederholungen der Spiel- und Kinderfilme finden im Kino 2wei50, Königsstr. 38-40, statt.

As renovation of the fire-damaged Hoffnung cine-ma isn’t yet finished, the two screens of 2wei50 at Königsstr. 38-40 will be used for children’s films and repeat screenings of the festival programme.

Koproduktionstreffen | Co-Production Meeting

Im Rahmen der 47. Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck lädt MEDIA Desk Germany zu seinem alljährlichen Koproduktionstreffen ein. Es richtet sich insbesondere an Produzenten, die für ein Projekt in Entwicklung noch Koproduzenten suchen, sowie an Verleiher und Vertreter der verschiedenen Förderinstitutionen aus den teilnehmenden Ländern.

During the 47th Nordic Film Days Lübeck, MEDIA Desk Germany is holding its annual co-production gathering. This is aimed primarily at producers who are looking for co-producers for a project in development, as well as at distributors and representatives of various film-related institutions from the participating countries.
