Baltischer Filmpreis - Begründung der Jury

Anläßlich der 46. Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck 2004 vergibt die Jury den Baltischen Filmpreis an:
 
Lasset die Kinder / Aftermath / Lad de sm� b�rn
 
Der Baltische Filmpreis geht an den d�nischen Film Lasset die Kinder von Paprika Steen. F�r seine kraftvolle und doch sensible Beschreibung unserer einsamen Wege, wenn wir mit dem Verlust eines geliebten Menschen zurechtkommen m�ssen.

Eine lobende Erw�hnung geht an den Schauspieler Peter Franz�n f�r die herausfordernde Rolle eines behinderten Mannes in dem finnischen Film Dog Nail Clipper.

Baltic Films Prize - Statement of the Jury

On the occasion of the 46th Nordic Film Days Lübeck 2004 the Jury awards the Baltic Films Prize to:
 
Lasset die Kinder / Aftermath / Lad de sm� b�rn
 
or the following reason:
 
The Baltic Films Prize goes to the Danish film Aftermath by Paprika Steen for the powerful yet sensitive depiction of our solitary ways to come to terms with the loss of a loved one.

A Special Mention goes to the actor Peter Franz�n for the demanding role of a disabled man in the Finnish film Dog Nail Clipper.
