„Vielleicht fährt man deshalb so gern nach Lübeck, weil man hier im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes in die Weite blicken kann“ (film-dienst): Den Blick auf unsere Nachbarn im Norden und Nordosten, und auf eine Filmszene, die das europäische Kino bereichert durch Qualität und Originalität, soziale Aufmerksamkeit und künstlerische Innovation, skurrilen Humor und große Menschlichkeit. Die Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck bieten eine qualifizierte Übersicht über die Jahresproduktion, die Entdeckung neuer Trends und Talente und die Begegnung mit Regisseuren, Produzenten und Stars aus dem Norden. Sie öffnen Türen zum deut-schen Markt und geben alljährlich im November einen ersten Ausblick, worauf wir uns im kommenden Jahr im deutschen Kino freuen können. Willkommen zu den 46. “Perhaps people like to go to Lübeck so much because here in the truest sense of the word they can look into the expanse.” (film-dienst) It is a view to our neighbours in the North and Northeast, and to a film scene that enriches European cinema through quality and originality, social aware-ness and cultural innovation, scurrilous humour and great humanity. The Nordic Film Days Lübeck offer a qualified overview of the annual film production, the discovery of new trends and talent, and the opportu-nity to meet with directors, producers and stars from the North. The festival opens doors to the German mar-ket and offers a first look each November at the films which we will be able to enjoy in German movie theatres in the coming season.
