Preis der Videowirtschaft - Begründung der Jury

Anläßlich der 44. Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck 2002 vergibt die Jury den mit 5.000 EUR dotierten Preis der Videowirtschaft an:

Die deutsche Videowirtschaft w�rdigt die au�erordentliche Qualit�t der Kinder- und Jugendfilm-produktion in den nordischen L�ndern und die Br�ckenkopffunktion der Nordischen Filmtage L�beck bei der Pr�sentation dieser Werke in Deutschland. Sie schlie�t sich dem Kinder- und Jugendfilmpreis der Nordischen Filminstitute an. Die Auszeichnung ist mit einem Preisgeld von 5.000 Euro dotiert, das zweckgebunden zur Ver�ffentlichung des entsprechenden Films auf Video oder DVD verwendet werden soll. Dar�ber hinaus gibt die Videowirtschaft eine Vertriebsgarantie und eine Abnahmeunterst�tzung.

Video Prize - Statement of the Jury

On the occasion of the 44th Nordic Film Days Lübeck 2002 the Jury awards the Video Prize amounting to 5,000 EUR to:

for the following reason:
 
The German video industry acknowledges the outstanding quality of children's and youth film production in the Nordic countries and the bridgehead function of the Nordic Film Days L�beck in presenting these works in Germany, and concurs with the jury verdict for the Children's and Youth Film Prize of the Nordic Film Institutes. The award carries a prize in the amount of 5,000 Euro, to be used for publication of the respective film on video or DVD. Moreover, the video industry guarantees distribution and marketing support.
