Shooting Stars | New Faces

Neue Gesichter prägen das Kino im Norden. Talentierte junge Schauspielerinnen – von European Film Promotion bei der Berlinale im Februar 2002 als „Shooting Stars“ vorgestellt – haben wesentlich zum Erfolg der Filme beigetragen. Davon kann man sich in Lübeck überzeugen: Maria Bonnevie aus Norwegen ist gleich in drei Filmen zu sehen: „I am Dina“ von Ole Bornedal, „Libellen“ (Øyenstikker) von Marius Holst und – einer ihrer ersten Rollen – in „Der Eisbärkönig“ (Kvite- bjørn Kong Valemon) von Ola Solum aus dem Jahr 1991 (in der Reihe „Märchen und Mystery“). Margrét Vilhjálmsdóttir spielt in „Möwengelächter“ von Ágúst Gudmundsson und in „Falken“ von Fridrik Thor Fridriksson. Tuva Novotny aus Schweden ist zu sehen in „Invisible“ von Joel Bergvall und Simon Sandquist, und Maria Würgler Rich spielt in „Kleine Missgeschicke“ von Annette K. Olesen.

The Shooting Stars initiative of European Film Promotion brought exciting new talent to the Berlinale in February – as can be witnessed here in Lübeck. Maria Bonnevie from Norway is represented in three different films: “I am Dina”, “Dragonflies” and – in one of her first parts – “The Polar Bear King” by Ola Solum from 1991 (in the section “Fairytales and Mystery”). Margrét Vilhjálmsdóttir from Iceland stars in “The Seagull’s Laughter” and “Falcons”. Sweden’s Tuva Novotny can be seen in “Invisible”, while Maria Würgler Rich has a leading part in the Danish hit “Minor Mishaps”.
