Digitales Kino | D-Cinema

Erstmals werden sich die Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck mit dem Thema Digitales Kino auseinandersetzen. In Zusammenarbeit mit SONET FILM AB aus Stockholm und der Münchener Firma KINOTON wird der schwedische Spielfilm „Invisible“ von Joel Bergvall und Simon Sandquist beispielhaft für eine neue Technik gezeigt, bei der die Produktion von Beginn an mit digitaler Technik erfolgt und auch die Präsentation auf der großen Leinwand ganz ohne Film auskommt. Die Firma KINOTON GmbH ist einer der weltweit größten Hersteller von Projektionstechnik für Filmtheater, Studios und Special Venues. Zu der großen Zahl europäischer Kinos, die mit Filmprojektoren von KINOTON ausgestattet sind, zählt auch das Lübecker Festivalkino, der CineStar Filmpalast Stadthalle. Seit einiger Zeit wird bei der KINOTON GmbH der neue Bereich Digital Systems aufgebaut, der für Kinos und Studios neue technische Möglichkeiten eröffnen wird.

For the first time the NFL will investigate the topic of the D-cinema technology. In cooperation with Sonet Film AB in Stockholm and the Munich company Kinoton, the festival will present an exemplary screening of the Swedish film “Invisible” by Joel Bergvall and Simon Sandquist, a movie that was produced from the very beginning with digital technology and can now be presented on the big screen digitally without the use of any film stock. Kinoton is the world’s largest producer of production technology for movie theatres, studios and special venues. The CineStar Filmpalast Stadthalle is among the many European cinemas using Kinoton equipment. For some time Kinoton has been developing its Digital Systems branch, opening new possibilities for film screening.
