Volles Programm für Liv Ullmann am 4. November: Um 11 Uhr talkt die Regisseurin und Schauspielerin beim Filmtage-Talk im Filmpalast Stadthalle. Die Pressekonferenz mit Liv Ullmann wird um 17.30 Uhr im Radisson SAS Senator Hotel Lübeck stattfinden. Am selben Ort wird sie um 18.00 ihre von Per Haddal verfasste Biographie "Face to Face" signieren. Nach "Faithless" beginnt der Empfang zu Ehren Liv Ullmanns um 22.00 im Filmtagehotel.
Saturday, 4 November, is Liv Ullmann Day: at 11 am she talks about her life and work at the Filmtage-Talk. A press conference takes place at 17.30 hrs at the Radisson SAS Senator Hotel, followed by a presentation and signing of the new bio-/filmography by Per Haddal, "Face to Face". A reception in Liv Ullmann's honour follows the screening of her film Faithless - the party starts at 22 hrs in the Radisson SAS Senator -Hotel.
13 Geschäfte in der Lübecker Mühlenstraße beteiligen sich während der Filmtage an einer Aktion unter dem Motto "Ihr Weg zu den Nordischen Filmtagen". 13 stores along Lübeck's Mühlenstrasse are participating in the promotional action for the Film Days under the banner "Your Way to the Nordic Film Days".
MEDIA Desk Deutschland, der in Hamburg ansässige Vertreter des Brüsseler MEDIA-Programms, wird anlässlich der Filmtage deutsche und skandinavische Produzenten zu einem Co-Produktionstreffen am Freitag, 3. November, in Lübeck einladen. MEDIA Desk Germany, the German representative of the Brussels initiative MEDIA II, are inviting Scandinavian and German producers to a Scandinavian-German Co-Production Meeting on Friday in Lübeck.
Am 4. November wird um 12.30 Uhr eine Pressekonferenz des ZDF und der Potstdamer Master School Drehbuch im Pressebüro Stadthalle stattfinden. Vorgestellt wird "Pygmalion", das erste europäische Trainingsprogramm für Autoren im Bereich Kinder- und Jugendserien. An dem Projekt sind auch Sender aus Spanien, Finnland und Frankreich beteiligt.
TV broadcaster ZDF and the Master School Screenplay in Potsdam are holding a press conference on Friday at 12.30 hrs in the Press Centre Stadthalle to introduce "Pygmalion", the first European training programme for writers of children's and youth TV series. Broadcasters from Spain, Finland and France are also involved in the project.

Fonds springt ein

Zu den großzügigen Förderern der Nordischen Filmtage gehört der Nordic Film & TV Fund. Andrea Kunsemüller freut sich über die Zusage des Fonds über einen Zuschuss von 110.000 NKr.
Svend Abrahamsen, Direktor des Fonds, stellte diese Unterstützung zur Verfügung für Verbreitung des nordischen Films in Deutschland und die Realisierung der Liv Ullmann-Ausstellung in Lübeck, die Plakate und Bilder aus ihren Filmen enthält. Die Ausstellung, die zum einen Teil im Radisson SAS Senator Hotel Lübeck vom 30.10. - 5.11. und zum andern im Filmpalast Stadthalle (2. - 5. November) zu sehen sein wird, wurde vom Norwegischen Filmmuseum in Oslo zusammengestellt und bereits in Haugesund mit großem Erfolg gezeigt.
 
 

Nordic Support

The Nordic Film & TV Fund has offered generous support to the Nordic Film Days to help promote Nordic films in Germany and to bring the Liv Ullmann exhibition to Lübeck.
Andrea Kunsemüller is pleased to announce that the fund's director Svend Abrahamsen has pledged 110,000 NKr for this purpose. The two-part exhibition, which was prepared by the Norwegian Filmmuseum in Oslo and shown during the film festival in Haugesund, can be seen in the Radisson SAS Senator Hotel Lübeck from 30 October to 5 November and, in part, in the Filmpalast Stadthalle from 2 - 5 November.
 
 

"Baltic Films" Agreement in Lübeck

Am 4. November wird der litauische Vize-Minister für Kultur Juozas Sirvinskas gemeinsam mit Riina Sildos, der Vorsitzenden der Estnischen Filmstiftung, und Bruno Ascuks, dem Vorsitzenden des Nationalen Film Zentrums Lettland, im Lübecker Rathaus ein Abkommen unterschreiben, das die Kooperation der baltischen Staaten im Bereich Film weiter verfestigt. Das "Baltic Films" Abkommen ist ein Meilenstein in der kulturellen Zusammenarbeit der drei baltischen Staaten und wird nicht ohne Grund in Lübeck unterzeichnet. Die baltische Filmgemeinde bringt so ihre Dankbarkeit für die Pionierarbeit, die die Nordischen Filmtage seit langem für die baltischen Filmschaffenden geleistet haben.
On 4 November a historic agreement will be signed in the Lübeck town hall which will un-ite the efforts of the Baltic states to promote their films. Called "Baltic Films", this agreement will be signed by the Lithuanian Vice-Minister of Culture Juozas Sirvinskas and the Managing Directors of the Estonian Film Foundation and the National Film Centre of Latvia, Riina Sildos and Bruno Ascuks. "By signing it in Lübeck," writes Andris Rozenbergs, "the Baltic community wanted to express its gratitude to the Nordic Film Days for upholding the Nordic cooperation cause and send a heartfelt farewell greeting to Andrea Kunsemüller, without whose passion- ate engagement for Baltic films it would never come true."
