Neugierig auf die Nordischen? | Ready for some Northern Highlights?

Die Nordischen Filmtage Lübeck bieten wieder den größten Überblick über die nordische und die baltische Filmproduktion dieses und des vergangenen Jahres, und zwar in allen Bereichen: beim Kinderfilm, Spielfilm, Dokumentarfilm und Kurzfilm. Das Filmforum Schleswig-Holstein nicht zu vergessen. Das Jahr 2000 ist ein gutes Spielfilmjahr, und wir sind froh und stolz, dass Liv Ullmann ihren Film "Faithless" ("Trolösa") in der deutschen Erstaufführung nach der Premiere bei den diesjährigen Filmfestspielen in Cannes in Lübeck zeigt. Liv Ullmann stellt ihren Film selber vor, und wir heißen sie herzlich willkommen. Wir freuen uns darüber, dass sie nach dem Erhalt der Ehrenprofessur durch Ministerpräsidentin Heide Simonis, wenn nicht Vorlesungen gibt, so doch eine Vorführung ihres Könnens in Sachen Film gibt. Kritiker sagen, "Faithless" sei ihre bisher beste Regiearbeit.
Nordische Krimi-Schrifstellerinnen und Schriftsteller haben ihren Siegeszug um die Welt angetreten. Gleiches machen die Filme. Wir zeigen sie in der Retrospektive "Nordische Morde". Und "Krimis für Kids" gleich dazu. Wir hoffen, dass wir Sie neugierig gemacht haben.

Once again, the Nordic Film Days Lübeck will be presenting a broad survey of the latest Nordic and Baltic film productions from many different fields - children's films, feature films, documentaries and short films. And there's the annual Filmforum Schleswig-Holsteinas well. The year 2000 is a good year for feature films, and we are both proud and pleased to be screening the German premiere of Liv Ullmann's "Faithless" ("Trolösa"), which was first shown at this year's film festival in Cannes. Liv Ullmann will present the film in person, and we welcome her warmly. We congratulate her on the honorary professorship granted to her by Minister-President Heide Simonis and are glad that she has chosen to share her cinematic talent and knowledge with us without forsaking the cinema auditorium for the lecture hall. Critics have already hailed "Faithless" as her finest piece of directing yet.
Nordic thriller writers and whodunit authors have been translated into many languages. Now cinema audiences all over the world are sitting on the edge of their seats - our retrospective "Murder in the North" and "Thrillers for Kids" show why. Are you ready for some northern highlights?
