Liv Ullmann honoured

Auch Liv Ullmann gratulieren wir herzlich: Ihr Film Trolösa (Faithless), nach einem Drehbuch von Ingmar Bergman, läuft im diesjährigen Wettbewerbsprogramm in Cannes. Weitere skandinavische Filme sind Roy Andersson's Sänger från andra våningen (Songs from the Second Floor) und Lars von Triers Dancer in the Dark, eine Rekordbeteiligung im Wettbewerbsprogramm. Auch in ihrer Heimat Norwegen wird Liv Ullmann geehrt. Das Internationale Norwegische Filmfestival in Haugesund, mit dem die Nordischen Filmtage eng liiert sind, zeigt im August eine Hommage und eine Ausstellung zu Ehren der Schauspielerin, Regisseurin und Autorin, die auch Ehrenvorsitzende der Nordischen Filmtage ist. Es ist zu hoffen, dass die Ausstellung in Lübeck gezeigt werden kann.
 
 
Congratulations are also in Order for Liv Ullmann, Honorary President of the Nordic Film Days. Her film Trolösa (Faithless), based on a screenplay by Ingmar Bergman, has been selected for this year's competition programme in Cannes. Further Scandinavian films include Roy Andersson's Songs frorn the Second Floor and Lars von Triers Dancer in the Dark, a record for Scandinavian participation in the competition. Liv Ullmann will also be honoured in her native Norway. The Norwegian International Film Festival in Haugesund, with which the Nordic Film Days have very close ties, will present a tribute of her films and an exhibition in honour of the actress, director and writer. It is hoped that the exhibition can also be seen in Lübeck.
